As a child, Charlie Holles gazed up at the sky and asked an unanswerable question: "What is up there?" He struggled to understand but no answer came and the struggle triggered a transcendental experience. He felt his body merge with the ground beneath him and his awareness stretch out to become one with the trees, the birds, the world around him. A feeling of great bliss, peace and love surrounded him and in his own childlike way he knew that he was feeling the energy - the essence - of the universe.

Though he wasn't to realise it at the time, that experience was the beginning of an incredible adventure that has taken Charlie from his Home County roots to the flower power hippy trail of the seventies, and from Buddhist pilgrimage in India to the magical Alpujarras of Spain. Embracing each experience with passion and positivity, Charlie's own inner journey has shaped the man he is today and helped him to understand and harness the great gift that he was born with - a gift for healing.
