My Gypsy Soul

This is a beautifully woven tale giving the reader a glimpse into the life of a Gypsy girl, Crystobella. Set in the late seventeen-hundreds just outside of Paris, France. Her life is a web of intriguing occurrences that have a profound effect on her and those around her. She grew up without her mother and her only female influence came form her grandmother, who was with her for only a short time. Her father likes his drink and can be emotionally abusive and distant. Her heart belongs to a man who is many years her senior and an outsider to her tribe. She is forbidden to follow her heart and must conceal her love at all costs. She marries a man who also has a secret.. This union seals their fate for eternity. This story begins in present day Mexico and ends in historical Paris.
