My friend José, is not only the friend of the Apprentice, he is a friend of all the people and children who know him and are attracted by his way of being have placed their trust and friendship in José. The Apprentice is jealous of the great number of friends José has, since he is his personal friend and teacher, who is teaching him how to live his life, and integrate himself into his environment by creating friendships, which is not easy for the Apprentice, who finds himself in a tough and complicated adolescence due to having run away from home and having José's friendship as his only redoubt. José makes him understand that he should not be jealous of his other friendships, since he is his only apprentice and life partner. The days, weeks and months go by and the Apprentice begins to adapt and learn to José's way of seeing life, understanding that it is the right one, and that is why he has so many friends. José makes an effort to teach him with stories and examples in everyday acts and with his stories and tales, allowing the Apprentice to assimilate the ethical and moral, since it is the norm of José's life. For the apprentice, everything is new, since besides being a teenager, he does not know Madrid, the way of being of its inhabitants, the friendship of the people around him. And his little experience in life, leaving behind his friends from his home town, without the warmth of a home and in a precarious situation due to his runaway status, makes him lean totally on his friend José.
