My Doll and Me: Superheroes Fighting Bullying with Kindness promotes a pro-kindness, anti-bullying movement since research has shown that when children are taught how to be kind to one another, bullying is significantly reduced in schools. Inclusion of well-loved superhero characters and the popularity of dolls should connect to and engage young girls and spark an interest in reading the book. The book encourages girls to make a kindness pledge, suggests ten no-cost or low-cost acts of kindness they can perform and includes kindness slogan and JUST FOR FUN FACTS to test their understanding of the information in the book.
