Forced out of the Navy after an 8-year stint, Jonas Fisher needs a new direction. He sets his mind and heart on being a newspaper reporter. The only problem is that he has neither the experience nor the education he needs. But the wind is at his back, and through sheer grit and a little luck, he lands a job with a small paper in Colorado. Friends and enemies quickly pile up as he works to prove he's up to the challenge.
