Murder Among the Mannequins

Laney Daniels has moved home temporarily to help run the family mannequin business. But her mother has other plans: she's ready to hand over the reins and move on to her retirement dream of opening a restaurant. One morning, among the cold mannequins in her workroom, Laney trips over the still-warm body of a man she has recently met and found--well, interesting. The clues point to her and to her friend Catherine since her fingerprints are all over the murder weapon. Laney can't resist digging into the details of who would want to kill Kalen, and why in her studio? While tallying a long list of possible suspects her question soon turns into who wouldn't want Kalen dead. The trail leads her to a jewelry fencing scheme, blackmail-worthy affairs, and possible embezzlement at an eminent financial company. Her life will never be the same.
