Perturbed by the unrolling acrimonious events in many countries under the misuse of religion, race, ethnicity and politics, Omar Sillah (PhD) was motivated to search for peaceful solutions to help prevent occurrences in diverse, pluralistic countries. Sillah believes that one's belief, sense of belonging and culture play major roles in one's life and are foundational for co-existence. He calls for multi-faith, cultural and political dialogue to reach mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance for one another.
