Mudhal Thiruvandhadhi - Essence of the Commentary

The essence of the commentary of the Srivaishnava acharya Periyavachchanpillai, for the pasurams of Poygaiyazhvar called Mudhal Thiruvandhadhi. The commentator has done tremendous service by delving into the mind of Poygaiyazhvar and breaking down the inner meanings of the pasurams by word, phrase and verse. This is a meager attempt to translate the essence of the avatharikai (introduction) of this commentary into English for easy reading and understanding. The purpose is to stimulate interest so that the reader may gain the desire to learn the full meanings from a scholar or acharya in the traditional manner.
