The Scenario Methodology is highlighted as a classic approach, as it is considered an input for the formulation and implementation of strategies, helping institutions to deal with the management of future improbabilities and the evolving transformations in a business environment. In this context, it is understood that assessing these environments provides insight into the unique modifications and implications these variations have on an entity's strategies. Therefore, it should be noted that studies on scenario forecasting have become an important tool for higher education in public and private institutions in Brazil, contributing to the formulation and implementation of new strategies for these institutions' stricto sensu postgraduate programs.
