Beskrivelse
MOONLIGHT ON THE GRAVESTONES is a story of ill-fated desire and the resulting guilt and desperation that can sabotage a person's soul. Specifically, it relates the travail of the protagonist, West Edwards. He and his wife, Kathy, are newlyweds and, except for a minor bedroom issue, have the perfect marriage. One night, after their first falling out, a chain of events leads West to a fateful encounter in a women's restroom at a Conoco gas station--to an encounter gone bad. The trauma West incurs from the encounter leaves him with two negative side-effects--a case of impotence, with significant shrinkage of his penis, and a strange phobia of toilet stools--definite hindrances to any perfect marriage. As West struggles for redemption--to save his soul, as well as his marriage--could the answer be found in the character of Parnell, a former boyfriend of Kathy's, a police detective who possesses an uncanny knack for developing a psychic link with the perpetrator of whatever crime he happens to be investigating? As his psyche is exposed under the pitiless scrutiny of Parnell, is there hope that West can regain his manhood and become properly toilet trained once again--but at what risk?
