Beskrivelse
Moonflower in Autumn Rain is a deeply poetic, and at once, tragically mundane—microscopic look at the uncertain reality of human longing. Here are moments and places untouched by time; fractured emotions; and estranged people trying and failing, but sometimes succeeding in understanding their purpose in life.
Part science fiction, part romantic mystery, and a dash of the Japanese I-Novel style of writing, here lies a reality where the ocean can steal a deaf girl’s father; a memory of a friend’s harmonica can unravel a joyless existence; and a distant, blue fire in the night sky may burn away a long-repressed loneliness.
Coupled with complementary, quiet poems is also a novella, entitled: Violet Amandrea. A psychological, haunting romance about a violin player who is assured that she’s dead.
