About the Mood Toolbox Intervention Program
Teachers, Parents and Practitioners can support children with learning how to effectively regulate their emotions. This intervention program has many practical strategies and a fun lion character affectionately called Moodzie.
Each Moodzie has a specific color that represents different moods, such as red for anger and blue for sadness etc. Clever Moodzie will help children learn how to stay yellow and remain on the path to happiness with their own personalized toolbox strategies.
Mood Toolbox is a practical approach and can be utilized individually, in small groups or in the whole classroom. Although it is aimed at 6-12 year olds, it can still be used with younger or older children.
Even though this program can be used with all children, it is especially helpful for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers, Attention Deficit Disorder and Social Emotional Disorder.
Learning how to navigate the emotional roads of children can be rather challenging, but for the impacted children, discerning and working through their own moods can be trying. Some children may not be able to communicate their feelings effectively, however they can explore this through the various stories and support materials provided. Apps, Books, eBooks, Printables, iMessage Stickers and Giftstore Items are available in this series to further empower children with strategies for emotional regulation.
