Beskrivelse
Mallory Kane has spent the majority of her life thinking she was worthless and the farthest thing from special, so when she receives a letter from the world's most prestigious university offering her a full scholarship she's rightfully skeptical. It doesn't take her long to realize Sentia University is nothing like the brochure packet would have you believe. Monsters roam the halls - usually in search of coffee or their next class - and according to Administration, Mallory is one of them. She's about to learn the world around her is much more magical and dangerous than she could have ever possibly dreamed.
Danica Hyde blends technology with magic as easily as breathing, which makes her one of the world's leading Technomancers, despite being only twenty. She enjoys the simple things in life - shopping, traveling, watching TV, eating delicious food, playing video games, annoying her sister and blowing things up in her lab. She also enjoys the company of pretty people, more so if there isn't a lot of talking involved. Both she and her sister are Ifrits, generally considered the most powerful species on the planet, though that power comes with a price. Ifrits, and all Vampiric species for that matter, have to feed on either the blood or energy of others. Danica's unique lineage makes her nearly impossible for others to resist, which makes feeding on sexual energy in order to survive an easy task.
Reyna Hyde is a warm and friendly magical savant who can win over even the most hostile individuals, usually with baked goods. This helps to explain how she is able to smooth over her sister's near constant altercations so well. It also probably explains why she was asked by the Dean to become roommates with Mallory in the first place. Reyna spends most of her time baking magic into treats, creating paintings that come to life, playing with her three adorable shapeshifting puppies and learning about every type of magic she can get her hands on.
The three new roommates have more in common than they realize, but that's not always a good thing. They might be able to live with each other, but the real question is - can they survive each other?
