'In this, their third adventure, the Magic Path leads Kat Geraldson and Nick Thomas to Tangleford Valley in the year 1667, two years after the start of the Great Plague, and a year after the Great Fire of London. Here they meet two children of that time, Alice and Richard Fletcher, whose family had suffered a tragic loss in the plague. A special friendship follows, but an unfortunate accident leads Kat, Nick and the Fletchers to the brink of disaster.'
Also I love the front cover! Can I request two small changes: -
In the script it refers to a 'stone-block bridge'. The illustration has a wooden bridge - which I would like to keep - so can we change 'stone-block' to 'wooden' in the script please? (Bottom page ten of the revised script you sent me)
This is my fault for not explaining well enough but the three cottages in the illustration need to look like the cottage below, with wooden beams and no windows. This matches up with their description in the story.
The beams must be visible. Otherwise it's a beautiful piece of work and just what I wanted!
