Privedeny dannye o raznykh geneticheskikh narusheniyakh (tochechnykh mutatsiyakh i strukturnykh perestroykakh), kotorye identifitsirovany v dannykh opukholyakh, ikh chastote, spetsifichnosti, a takzhe faktorakh, privodyashchikh k generatsii takikh onkogenov v tireoidnykh kletkakh. Obsuzhdeny mekhanizmy vliyaniya onkogenov na protsessy transduktsii vnutrikletochnykh signalov, ekspressiyu tireoidspetsificheskikh belkov i transkriptsionnuyu aktivnost' retseptornykh tirozinkinaz. Osoboe vnimanie pri etom udeleno razlichiyam realizatsii onkogennykh effektov v dobrokachestvennykh i zlokachestvennykh opukholyakh shchitovidnoy zhelezy.
