"Mohammad Gharib, M.D.: His Inspiring Life and Legacy," details the career and life of arguably the most influential figure in modern Iranian medicine. A highly respected physician and teacher, Dr. Gharib is referred as the Father of Iranian Pediatrics by the medical community today. Throughout his life, Dr. Gharib was recognized across the globe for his many achievements. In 1954, the French government conferred upon him the Cross of the Chevalier (Knight) of the L?gion d'Honneur, the highest French distinction for military and civil accomplishments.
