The church of Jesus Christ needs to re-orient itself and to re-appraise and re-evaluate its functions, its methods and its usefulness. It must ask itself the question whether it has fulfilled its obligation in giving clear and unequivocal answers to the questions which have been forged in the fires of conflicting ideologies. But even before it has tried to do this, it must ask itself questions about its own nature and function in terms of its basic obligation to the world.
