Missing Children

On the day of his brother's funeral, Benjamin Morris saves a small boy from drowning in the river and falls in love with one of the bystanders, a psychologist named Mae. Then his three-year-old son is abducted from his nursery school along with many other children across the country. This is a beautifully written whodunit wrapped up in metaphors. Who are all these abducted children and where have they gone?
