Miserly Kanjoos

Miserly Kanjoos, a South Asian adaptation of a comedy inspired by Moliere's The Miser* deals with a miser and his topsy-turvy relationship with his children, employees, and associates.

The Play revolves around his unabashed belief that wealth should be shielded from any expense he considers unnecessary. In the process of jealously guarding his wealth, including by way of burying a treasure-chest in his garden, he muddles up his and his children's love-life.

The Play reflects the Malaysian-born author's Punjabi roots in that the characters and setting are Punjabi.
