Alternate earth :     A lone Country decides to break away from a unified earth, after 150 years of peace established by the church and the Popes that have governed the planet, to secure there own freedoms and way of thinking and sparks a new Holy war.

         Jamie Trathen a young southern girl just becoming a young woman gets caught up in a world of adult problems and escapes the possibility of going to jail by joining the military in a very inopportune time.  After acing her classes at the military academy and early graduation, her armored cavalry division gets shipped out and assigned to fight in South Africa of all places to join forces with the Popes holy military under a sudden and tense peace treaty, to fight against a new unknown foe from an alternate earth of all places. Jamie , dodging one problem and facing new unknowns finds herself fresh out of school thrown from the frying pan into the fire to be forged in steel or turned to slag..
