Miracles of Healing in the Gospel of Mark

God sent the world a healing Messiah, Jesus Christ. This book is designed to help you see healing from Jesus' perspective and to bring about a greater understanding of why God made healing a central part of Jesus' kingdom work and ministry. The author has based this book on two important presuppositions as evidenced in Scripture. One, healing is rooted in God's amazing and unconditional love for humanity. Two, healing is in the atonement. In response to sin, God sent the world a healing Messiah. Salvation is ultimate healing. People throughout human history have raised the question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" It seems that evil often triumphs over good. In addition to this question being thoroughly considered and answered in the book of Job, the healing stories in Mark's gospel challenge the wisdom of this statement.
