The minute book of Bedford corporation, 1647-1664Minutes of the meetings of the Court of Aldermen, Common Hall and Common Council. They deal with procedure, admission to the freedom of the town, admission of burgesses, appointment of town officials, town property, repairs, the salary of the school usher and litigation. There is a record of the loyal address to the Lord Protector in 1658 but not, it seems, to Charles II in 1660.
