Beskrivelse

The novel is set on the factual background and intrigue in 1980 and 1981 that led to the assassination of Anwar Sadat. Could the Israelis through the Mossad been complicit with the Egyptian Islamic Brotherhood in the assassination of the Egyptian President? Milledufleur Rose a seductively attractive Professor of Middle East Studies at the SOAS college of London University is recruited by the number two member of the Mossad. She has as her first assignment the seduction and entrapment of a young American oil executive assigned to run an exploration program in Egypt. Through Milledufluer's efforts the plan is to have him unwittingly further the Israeli objectives in Lebanon. Getting him to take a bite of the apple will not be difficult, making him want to come back for more will require substantial planning, guile and luck. She will have to rely on all of her experience gained through her hedonistic life. If she fails the Israeli plans will be jeopardized and more Israelis will be killed. Milledufleur becomes enamored with her Mossad recruiter and operator. This complicates her assignment but adds to her challenge.
