Paul Pritchard, an analytical genius fresh out of grad school, is recruited into the Wyndham-Hart Group -- a secret government organization that deals with "persons with powers" and "costumed criminals," keeping the existence of these individuals from public knowledge. As he is given his first assignment with the famed Eric "Stronghold" Fort, Paul discovers a plot to uncover a mysterious and dangerous experiment labeled Chapter Zero, which is also sought after by Thaddeus Bell -- a Wyndham-Hart agent gone rogue with a dark past and a trail of blood he leaves in his wake.
