Andy is a good pal, and Mike, his bike, is a dependable friend. Andy is at the library, and Mike hopes that he gets a book about bikes. Readers will have to tune in to find out the end. Books of the Neighborhood Readers Program build early literacy skills, introduce important content-area language, and help develop speaking and writing skills. They can be integrated into any existing language arts or core reading programs.
