Beskrivelse

Miguel and Mina Gonzalez are a married couple of 16 years in their mid-40s. They are from San Benito, Guatemala, a small town in the northern region of the country. Their village and area were devastated economically by the COVID-19 virus restrictions and deaths. Inflation has made their rural living impossible. They are unable to feed their two children Carlita and Jaime.

To make matters worse, the notorious MS-13 gang has begun operating in their town. The gang likes the secluded area being far from the city. They have conscripted the local people to work as processors for their Cocaine business.

Determined to escape the bondage, they meet in secret for months planning their exit from Guatemala. They would save as much money and dried food rations as possible. When ready, they began the long, arduous trip through the notorious Darien Gap between Columbia and Panama. Finally, the family reached central Mexico where members of the Gulf Cartel kidnapped both of their children. What happens next is up to you to find out.
