Midlife Cancer Crisis

Pamela is a mom to thirteen-year-old godson Patrick when she was diagnosed with Stage IIIB colon cancer. Aggressive surgery to remove the tumor, including her left ovary, fallopian tubes, twenty-three lymph nodes, a colon resection, and chemotherapy to prevent the spread, left her plenty of time to think about life.



Her journey was one of discovery, about who she was, how her parents and siblings affected her, and ultimately, what the next chapter of her life would be. But within a year, the thing she feared most happened, cancer spread to her liver.
