Eleventy-one years after the destruction of that Insidious Ring, men, elfs, dwarfs, and hobbicks watch and enjoy the precious films given them by the filmmaker. Life has never been better in fact, for after evil was permanently destroyed (with no possibility of ever coming back or causing problems for anyone at all) everyone can finally just sit back, relax, and enjoy their pipes.

Or so it would seem...

Frobo Daggins (alleged grandson of the most famous hobbick who ever lived) lives a simple life in his hobbick hole in the Chire. When he isn't smoking, eating, or drinking with his two best friends and his gardener, he's watching the most beloved films with the rest of the Chire out on the big lawn. But when a certain film-wizard imposter shows up at his door, he's forced into the undertaking of a perilous quest full of satire, adventure, and quite unexpected consequences.
