Beskrivelse
MENIERE'S disease is a vestibular disorder of the inner ear and brain that affects balance, hearing, and vision. People with this disorder have sudden attacks of vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, a feeling of fullness in the affected ear, and uncontrolled eye movements.
The worst part of having this disease is that an attack can occur at any time. Yes, the person looks and acts normally because they are normal. The liability is that they can suddenly have a vicious attack, leaving them helpless on the ground, unable to walk, open their eyes, or even stand up! This is shocking and scary, not only to the victim but also to everyone witnessing it.
