Beskrivelse
Growing up an only child of a cop and secretary in Las Vegas, life started out pretty uneventful, however, the events of her upbringing brought fear and uncertainty into Deborah's life and caused her to make choices that were fraught with risk and danger. Coming into her own at a time when organized crime dominated Las Vegas, she began to experience growing pains, and her life became dangerous. Deborah fled her persecutors and moved to Los Angeles to start again where the allure of the ocean and her lifelong love of horses brought her joy and comfort.
After the shutdown of COVID-19, Deborah, newly divorced, needed to get safe, she moved with her three horses and three dogs to a remote destination in the Mojave Desert where she lived for six months without electricity or water. Braving temperatures of over 115 degrees, she learned how to survive and thrive. In this book, Deborah imparts the teachings of her mentors, specifically Dr. Wayne Dyer whom she credits as being responsible for her sobriety.
This book is for women who want to find their inner strength and learn how they can overcome their unhealthy relationships with men, money, and food. This is an inspiring story of perseverance, resilience, and hope.
