My name is James McRainbow and this is the story of how a man and his faithful four-legged companion, Oracle, survived for years on a desert island. A story that begins with a shipwreck and unfolds between breathtaking adventures and extraordinary encounters.

One day, the sea decides to play a bad trick and you find yourself on an unknown island, a speck of land forgotten by the maps. Thus begins our odyssey, between stars that seem to fall to say goodnight and waves that tell ancient legends of lost sailors.

For some, sleeping might seem like an absolute waste of time, for others just a regenerating necessity. For our protagonist it was a real job. He was a bed tester. An atypical, extravagant man if we want to define him in some way. A true sleep professional, with his furry companions always ready for every nap: Ernesto, a Siamese cat, and Salame, so called for his greed for sausage salami, a mixed-breed dog. Together they formed an incredible team, always searching for the truth.

And let's not forget about another dusty corner of the universe, where a dog named Lord and his human friend, Jack, were not heroes, at least not in the conventional sense of the word. They did not wear cloaks or brandish swords. But they had something that many others did not: a bond that transcended time and space, an adventure that would lead them to discover the deepest secrets of the human and alien soul.
