Memphis Moon is a fast-paced fictional thriller set during the Civil War. Virginia and Lottie Moon, best known for their surreptitious activities in support of the Confederacy, bob and weave through this epic tale depicting North versus South and sister versus sister. What was written about this sister spy duo is about to be turned upside down, along with reported historical facts. Virginia (Ginnie) Bethel Moon did not ask to be a spy...the role was thrust upon her. Raised in Oxford, Ohio by a prominent physician, her family had strong ties to the South. Moving to Memphis shortly after the death of her father, Ginnie found herself thrown into a world of deceit and manipulation that shaped her life for years to come. In the midst of this conflict is Caleb Dawkins, a young miller from Danville, Virginia whom she is hopelessly in love with. As Ginnie and Caleb struggle to find each other, fate and the war seem to tear them asunder.
