The little city stray dog Melly surrendered to the dog catcher in hopes that a nice family from the suburbs woud adopt her. It worked! Now it was almost Christmas, but Melly, the newly-rescued puppy, didn't know that.
Melly and her new friend Chief, an Australian Shepherd, escape from the front yard to go find some great smelling Christmas trees.
