Mehregan With My Grandma : In English & Persian

Inspired by the art of the Qajar Era, “Mehregan With My Grandma” introduces young readers to the ancient fall harvest celebration. Little Soraya wants to learn the secret ingredient of her Grandmother’s Yazdi teacakes, but before she gains that bit of knowledge, she has to help Grandma set up the Mehregan Sofreh. As Soraya collects sunflowers, pomegranates, grapes, and apples, she discovers that Mehregan is about Love that people share with one another. She learns that if there is harmony among people, there is harmony between people and Nature. As for Yazdi teacakes, the secret ingredient is Love.
