When an all-star basketball player is involved in a hit-and-run and goes missing, Nick suspects a local psychic might be involved. In order to learn what happened to his friend, Nick must dig into the murder conviction of the victim's brother. While doing so, Nick uncovers a pattern of corruption within the justice system that is worse than any lies a fake fortune teller might pass off as truth.
