"Child" was not a classification for a young person in the Early Middle Ages. That came later. Young people had a hard life unless they were born into Nobility. If they survived, they could experience little joys, learn a trade, and even rise to the stature of a Knight. Medieval Child tells you all about life as a child 1000 years ago.
