Media education centers

The monograph, based on the analysis of Russian and foreign experience, substantiates the relevance of media education centers in modern society: including the analysis and systematization of their basic models, directions, goals and objectives, practical results, etc. The authors offer the criteria, methods, and indicators developed by them to assess the effectiveness of scientific and educational centers in the field of media pedagogy. The synthetic model of scientific and educational center in the field of media education - its essential features, qualities, properties, structure, goals, objectives, content, pedagogical conditions of implementation is also substantiated. Establishing the levels of media competence of students trained within the framework of such media education centers is based on the classification of indicators developed by the researchers.
