English summary: The first edition of this title was published by De Gruyter publishers in Berlin in 2009. Whereas whole libraries have been completed on the topic of Max Weber's sociology of religion, his sociology of law is the subject of comparatively few publications - despite Talcott Parsons having highlighted its fundamental significance within Weber's work. In particular, his opinion on the teaching of legal methodology has remained virtually disregarded, even though as a PhD and Professor of law he was, in the broadest sense, acting on it. Max Weber's sociology of law is of such interest for legal doctrine not least because Weber knew the law and legal methodology from an insider's perspective and was therefore able to understand and interpret it. German description: Die erste Auflage ist 2009 beim Verlag De Gruyter, Berlin erschienen.Wahrend uber Max Webers Religionssoziologie ganze Bibliotheken geschrieben worden sind, gibt es zu seiner Rechtssoziologie - ungeachtet ihrer von Talcott Parsons herausgestellten Zentralitat in Webers Werk - vergleichsweise wenige Bande. Insbesondere ist sein Verhaltnis zur juristischen Methodenlehre nahezu unberucksichtigt geblieben, obwohl er als promovierter und habilitierter Jurist im weitesten Sinne von ihr ausgegangen ist. Max Webers Rechtssoziologie ist fur die Rechtsdogmatik nicht zuletzt deshalb so interessant, weil Weber das Recht und die juristische Methode inwendig kannte und von daher deutend verstehen konnte.
