This is not a facsimile of Max M ller's famous book, 'India, What Can It Teach Us?: A course of lectures delivered before the University of Cambridge', but a faithful reproduction of the text of the 1883 American edition, including introduction and notes by Prof. Alexander Wilder. This edition is now in the public domain. Friedrich Max M ller (1823-1900), generally known as Max M ller, was a philologist and Orientalist renowned for his works on Indian studies and comparative religion.
