"An invigorating, slice of life, high school love story."Maria, a high school senior-president of the school's math club-and sole provider for a family of 4, has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Things get worse when her family faces eviction. Nowhere to go, she strikes a deal for them to live with the VP of the math club, Juan, a student she does not get along with. She desperately needs a place to stay, and he needs her help with his escape plan. They work together to overcome challenges in and out of school while leading the math team through fierce competitions.
