Mary's Land

In 1638, strong-willed, upper-class Margaret Brent has decided to make better use of her dowry than hand it over to some doddering squire. She uses it to book passage to Lord Baltimore's new colony in the wilds of Terra Maria, Maryland. Also on board is an unwilling passenger, a quick-witted, thirteen-year-old pickpocket named Annicah. Kidnapped off the streets of Bristol she's transported to a life she could not have imagined.
