Marriage is a two part book in the After God's Own Heart series, which gives each reader an understanding of God's intent and purpose for the institution of marriage and the role each spouse fulfills in the union. Part One: Fundamentals, explores the perspective of Jesus Christ on marriage, and the representation of the union, in the understanding of the whole of the body of Christ. This is unto all believers in Christ Jesus, and builds the foundational thought process which will be invaluable in approaching marriage and service unto Christ Jesus, in a manner which will be deemed pleasing in the sight of God.
In understanding the heart of God and his desires towards marriage, Part One: Fundamentals, deals with the true meaning of oneness, submission, obedience, subjection, authority, and many other concepts and understandings which are important in this meaningful relationship, and in our understanding of our own place in Jesus Christ. Also, that nothing be left undone, this book also tackles the most confusing and misunderstood, yet most longed for concept of "love." After God's Own Heart: Marriage, Part One: Fundamentals offers each concept in accordance with the Lord's perspective. As a believer, knowing the desires and the heart of God for his creation, both his purpose and intent, is special unto the Lord God, and a book of remembrance is kept before God. Those which seek to understand the concepts of God, from and according to the heart of God, these gather unto themselves great treasures in eternity, with God.
