The Federal police officer, Diana Davila, is on her way to Laspaules, a rural town in the Huesca province with a long-standing tradition of witchcraft, to investigate the murder of another police officer. Obsessed with following the clues surrounding the crime, she discovers that before the police officer was murdered, he was investigating the theft of a one-of-a-kind special edition copy of the book, Faust, by Goethe.
