The following booklet provides an outline of ''Manchester Capitalism'' between 1835 and 1845. During this period, two contemporary historian named Alexis de Tocqueville (1805 - 1859) and Friedrich Engels (1820 - 1895) depicted the living and working conditions of the labouring class in Manchester. Having described some historical and socioeconomic reasons why the English society faced this system, I sum up its societal impact.
