Beskrivelse
When dementia attacks the frontal lobe, fading inhibitions and rising obsessions are frequent outcomes. With these emotional filters not working normally, rages are frequent outcomes. Anger giving way to violence is a symptom in more than 20% of people with FTD. These symptoms are most often a feature of the midstage of the disease, sometimes the symptoms causing a person to be diagnosed with FTD. When the symptom is a temporary feature, it dominates the caring relationship. Then it is called "The Rage Stage".These behaviours are among the most difficult for carers to understand and manage. This book is uniquely dedicated to the management of rage.
