Severe asthma exacerbation (SEA) is an exacerbation that is unresponsive to well-conducted medical therapy, potentially life-threatening, and/or requires urgent management.Early administration of inhaled BDCA, systemic corticosteroid therapy, and intravenous magnesium sulfate avoids the need for MV. High-flow oxygen therapy was the most commonly used ventilatory support technique.
