Man on the Scene

With food running low in his shack's cupboards, Quinn does the unthinkable...He takes a job teaching English on a tiny outlying island in Taiwan. Teaching as his cover, Quinn, insatiably curious, examines the historical, cultural, and natural nuances of his temporary home on the island of Nangan. The island, lying within sight of mainland China was once the setting of front line hostility between Taiwanese and Chinese forces during the Cold War. At the conclusion of his teaching stint, Quinn flies over to Cambodia to visit his in-laws in a new round of adventures not to be missed.
