This book will help you find out about the different types of evidence which historians study when doing their historical research. It also provides examples of this evidence, on which you will be able to carry out your own research. Some sources are very rare and are the only remaining evidence of a time in the past; other periods, especially the recent past, have lots of evidence which must be tested for bias and accuracy.
