Isadora Valenti is a woman on a mission. After years of sweat and hard work, she's thrilled to finally open the town's first bar for book lovers called Gertrude's. That is, until a plot twist sours her spirits-Brady's, a sports bar owned by wealthy practical jokester Chuck McCaffrey, happens to be opening next door the very same day.



As an epic feud between the two bars heats up, Gertrude's struggles to attract customers. Meanwhile, Brady's scores points with the locals, but the city's regulations could spell trouble for the sports bar. Amid the chaos, Isadora and Chuck start to see each other in a new light-but can they put their rivalry on ice and team up to save their bars in time for a happy hour ending?
