Viera has spent years teaching and guiding others. Can she turn the tables and become a student?Back on earth, Viera returns to her calling as an elementary school teacher. The problem is her time in space has changed her and it's affecting more than just her ability to do magic-it's touching every aspect of her life.
Viera realizes she needs to understand her magic before it masters her. Though there are people willing to help her out, she's forced to work with a cantankerous trainer who treats her like an ignorant child.
Meanwhile, her relationship with Thorn, her student's mother, is heating up. They both know it's short term, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth pursuing.
